Katy & Geoffrey Lees – Intimate Church Ceremony
“Jayne was awesome to work with, really easy to get on with and stayed in communication. She delivered me accessories that I was short of and was on hand to help on the morning of the wedding, including ironing, and lacing up my dress. Can’t recommend her enough x”
I undertook a Consultancy and Design/Styling role for Katy, along with On the Morning Coordination. Being introduced to Katy by her sister-in-law, she was doing the whole wedding herself but struggling with some aspects of her day. A church service was followed by an intimate dinner for close family at a local country public house restaurant. The couple and their children were also baptised during the ceremony which was very touching. An evening reception was held later for wider family and friends at a local social club which Katy was dressing and organising herself.
In the 2 months leading up to the wedding I was on hand to offer advice, source suppliers and offer suggestions on styling her day, along with advice on how to make certain items herself. On the day of the wedding I attended Katy’s home to assist with the organisation while everyone got prepared for the day. With so many things going on at once a helping hand making drinks, answering the door, doing up all the dresses and even ironing the bridesmaid dresses meant I could relieve some stress for the bride and her bridal party. Filling my very small car with around 15 helium filled balloons and delivering to the reception was certainly eventful!
