Lauren & Scott – Pagan Ceremony & Marquee/Barn Outdoor Garden Party
“Jayne helped us pull all of our wedding plans together and what a fabulous job she did. Nothing was too much trouble and she remained professional from start to finish. If you want a wedding planner that listens to what you want and delivers, Jayne is the person you need. Jayne is so friendly and easy to get along with. She comes highly recommended from us. Thank you so much Jayne. Xx”
I joined Lauren & Scott for the last 3 months of their planning. Key suppliers had all been sorted but with the logistics of an outdoor wedding, I was tasked with assisting in the vision and set up, along with recommending some supplies not yet sourced as Lauren was making most elements herself. We spent quite a few days setting up but had such fun.
As soon as I met Lauren I knew we would get along, our ideas and visions were very similar, however, I have never met such a chilled and laid back bride.. it was so refreshing.
The venue was a working farm with an open field, converted barn, marquee and a camping field for guests. The whole atmosphere was garden party/festival – and very laidback! The wedding itself was a Pagan ceremony undertaken in the woods. This was my first experience of such a ceremony and I was struck by the intimacy and complete involvement of all guests. The ceremony was followed with an afternoon tea wedding breakfast, served in an open marquee facing the stunning Farmhouse, barn and woods. The afternoon was spent lounging in the gorgeous sunshine playing garden games. More guests arrived as the evening reception moved into the barn and surrounding terraces for an night of dancing .. and a fire eating display.
The design was rustic with dusky pink tones combined with lace, hessian and natural wood.
It was such an honour to be part of this wedding, apart from a nightmare of a collapsing cake! I have even asked my husband to renew our vows here. Click on each image to see just how gorgeous this wedding was. See blog for more..
